    Greetings,
Do you mean a Date on a new flight in LogTen Mobile? Trips functionality is only in the new LogTen Pro for iPhone software.

This may be caused by your .logten file on the mac. We can fix it for you if you send it to us. Can you send us a copy? you may need to compress it first:

    1. Highlight the file or folder you want to send to us in the Finder
    2. Select Compress from the File menu of the Finder
    3. Attach to an email or support discussion the resulting .zip file

    Cheers,
    Torea

    Hi Torea,

I am a bit confused....my 2G iPhone presently has the application LogTen Mobile on it and it will not show a field for "Date" for a new flight, UNLIKE the same application on my iPad.

What is the difference between "LogTen Mobile" and the link to "LogTen Pro"?

    Dan,
we stopped developing for Mobile this summer and have now moved to LogTen Pro for iPhone as the new iPhone software. This does not mean that you have to upgrade, as we will always support Mobile!

The missing fields issue can be caused by data in your .logten file on the Mac (or .ltps file if you are still using LTP 4). If you recently synced to your iPhone, but not the iPad, then this may be causing the issue. We normally do not see fields suddenly disappearing unless there is a problem with the data file directly. This may be caused by custom fields (whether you use them or not) becoming duplicated in your data file.

We have tools here that can fix the data file and restore the functionality.

    Does that help explain?
    Cheers, Torea

    Hi Torea,

I have managed to synch my iPhone, iPad with my LogTen Pro on my iMac and all was well....now my iPhone is saying I need to purchase LogTen Pro to continue adding flights having reached the 40 hour threshold BUT I already have LogTen Pro downloaded on my iMac so why do I need to repurchase it again for my iPhone?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,

Yes, they are two separate programs, the iPhone one goes through the iTunes app store.

    Cheers,

    Raphael
