Hi,

I've learnt that the number of flights that are sync'd with LTP / held on LTPiP has now become a function that only Coradine can alter (although it used to be a user-selected option)

I really feel this is a retro-step for the product.

As the logbook grows, so will the memory foot-print of the app and data. I'm an instructor, so the number of flights (compared to total time of each flight) is relatively high.

I understand that LTPiP has far better reporting and without these flights, would be unable to create a logbook report (for example) - but to be honest, whilst this is a very nice-to-have feature - those looking to create such reports where individual flights are recorded, would surely be doing this on the LTP / Mac & not the iPhone (?).

Can you re-instate the option to select the number retained by LTPiP ?

Totals are one thing, but a list of flights that occurred 3yrs ago just appears crazy

if I had the option to select myself, i'd usually run with a few on the iPhone, maybe performing a master re-sync of everything, should i want to run a report on the iPhone, returning to a handful once done & using on a day-to-day basis

Something I doubt Coaradine could service - changing, then changing back etc

As a Half-way solution - could we at least be able to select how many are visible at any one time on the iphone

Regards

Simon

    Simon,

Thank you for taking the time to write us with your suggestions! Unfortunately, not all of Coradine's customers have LTP on the mac in addition to the iPhone. We are starting to see an influx of customers who just have an iPhone and we were increasingly receiving requests for a more full-featured logbook for the iPhone, hence the birth of LogTen Pro for iPhone.

For LogTen Mobile (the previous iPhone product) we are able to still control the number of flights sync'd here in Customer Support (we can modify it per customer's request if required). But unfortunately, the way the data is structured in the new iPhone app, Pro, we are unable to only have a subset of the data. We do only show the last 30 flights in the Flight View before showing additional flights from the more distant past.

We are committed to continue to make great software for aviators worldwide. You can be assured that we will take your suggestions to heart and work on incorporating them in future releases.
Let us know if we can be of further assistance!

    Cheers,
    Torea
