Type ride or PC reset
I recently got a new type rating and by the time my training was done, I was no longer current according to my logbook because for simulator time I just log it as time in the simulator column. It would be great if there was a way to "reset" all of the currency fields after a type ride or PC without having to actually enter all of the requirements. After all, we are current after a type or PC.
Just a thought,
Gavin Luck

Tom,
I finally figured out what happened. I have it working now. Thanks! One more question. How do you suggest I set up so it resets all three currency groups because an IPC in an airline simulator makes you current for day and night as well as instrument even if you haven't flown in over a year.
Thanks,
Gavin

Hi Gavin,
What you can do for this is find your previous IPC group under your Instrument currency, then right-click on it and select Duplicate. Then drag this copy into the Day currency, and do the same for Night. Be sure to edit the main Day and Night currencies, so that "if this group contains subgroups match [Any] of their criteria".
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers,
Tom

Tom,
Thanks for all the help!!! Support at Coradine goes above and beyond! I followed your instructions and changed the dates of the "IPC Copy" to what I needed and it all worked great! My currencies now match my airlines and I can follow it perfectly!!
Thanks again,
Gavin
