About LogTen Pro X Subscriptions

With a LogTen Pro X subscription you'll always have the latest version of LogTen Pro, fully supported on the latest hardware and operating systems so your logbook can grow with you as you upgrade. LogTen Pro X can be used without restrictions, until you have logged more than 250 hours of total flight time. After which, a single in-app subscription is required to add new flights, and sync your logbook to other devices. You can select between monthly or annual options, and choose a Mac-only, iOS-only, or a Mac & iOS subscription to give you unlimited access to the LogTen Pro X platform, the world's most advanced pilot logbook, with effortless syncing, and continuous updates and improvements. Even if your subscription lapses, you can always download the latest app updates, and you will always have full access to your logbook data, where you can view, edit existing entries, generate reports, export, and print.

Before you purchase a subscription, you will need to Create a Coradine Account. Your Coradine Account will allow you to use your LogTen Pro X subscription on multiple devices, and restore the subscription if anything ever happens to your device. The Coradine Account is separate from your Apple ID, iTunes Store, and iCloud accounts.

Note: Your Coradine Account does NOT hold a backup of your logbook. For details on backing up, please see this article.

Creating a Coradine Account on iOS

Open LogTen Pro X on an iPhone or iPad, then select the More tab, Settings, and Account. On the Account page, tap the Sign Up button, then enter your email, a new password, re-enter your password to verify it, and then tap Sign Up again to create your account.

After your account has been created, you will be sent an email asking you to verify your email address, usually within a few seconds. Please verify that this is your account by tapping on the link in the email. Afterwards, go back to the Account tab of LogTen Pro X and tap the Refresh button to finish verifying your email.

Note: If you do not see the verification email in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam folder. You can also send another verification email by tapping the Resend button.

Creating a Coradine Account on Mac

Open LogTen Pro X on your Mac, then click on the LogTen Pro X drop-down menu and select Account. Click the Signup tab, then enter your email, a new password, re-enter your password to verify it, and then click on the Signup button to create your account.

Purchasing a Subscription on iOS

Before you can purchase a subscription, you'll be asked to login with your Coradine Account, so please Create a Coradine Account if you have not yet already. Your Coradine Account will allow you to use your LogTen Pro X subscription on multiple devices depending on your subscription choice, or restore it if anything were to happen to your current device.

You can view and purchase the different subscription options by going to the More tab, then select Settings, and Store.

Note: Prices will vary depending on your App Store region. Please check the application for the prices in your locale.

Select one of the subscription options and you will see additional details about it on the next screen. At the bottom of the screen tap Buy and the In-App Purchase process will start. As with any other In-App purchase, you may be prompted to login to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.

After purchasing, your subscription will appear in the Purchased section of the Store tab, and display the date it is due to renew. You can also use the same subscription for LogTen Pro X on a total of five iOS devices, and if you purchased one of the cross-platform subscription, up to five Macs. All you need to do is login with the same Coradine Account that was used to purchase your subscription, and your other device will automatically be authorized on your account.

You can click on See more... for each to view a more detailed description of each product, and click the button showing the subscription price to start the In-App Purchase process. As with any other In-App Purchase, you may be prompted to login to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.

After purchasing, your subscription will appear in the Purchased tab of the Store window, and display the date it is due to renew. You can also use the same subscription for LogTen Pro X on a total of five Macs, and if you purchased one of the cross-platform subscriptions, up to five iOS devices. Account Is Not Recognized

Your Coradine Account email is case-sensitive, so be sure to use the same case as when you signed up. Please also note that your Coradine Account is separate from your Apple ID, iTunes Store, and iCloud accounts.

Forgot Your Password?

You can reset your password from the Account tab in LogTen Pro X. Enter your email address, and then tap Reset Password. Soon after, you will receive an email allowing you to change your password.

Can the Subscription be used on Multiple Devices?

Yes. The Standard subscriptions can be used on up to five iOS devices or five Macs, depending on which application you use to purchase the subscription. The Pro subscriptions can be used on both platforms, allowing you to use up to five iOS devices and five Macs. Simply log into the same Coradine Account in LogTen Pro X on your other devices, and they will be activated with your subscription.

What Happens When My Subscription Runs Out?

You will be able to view and manage your logbook just as before, as well as receive all updates to LogTen Pro X. The ability to add new flight records and sync between other devices are the only features disabled without a subscription. To renew your subscription, see Subscribe on Mac or Subscribe on iOS

No Subscriptions Available to Purchase / Empty Store?

First, please check your internet connection to ensure that the application can receive information from the App Store.

If that does not solve it, we have seen an issue in iOS that prevents an application from connecting the App Store properly, and purchase information cannot be retrieved. This occurs on occasion immediately after the application has been installed, or when an iOS update has been installed. This is almost always solved by one of the following actions:

  • Restarting the app: Double-click the home button, then swipe up on the app screen to close it. Re-open the app, and try again.
  • Restarting the device: Hold down both the Wake/Sleep and the Home button until the screen turns off and the Apple logo appears, then release the buttons and the device will restart. Open Log Ten Pro X, and try again.

In-App Purchases Not Allowed?

In-App Purchases have been restricted for your iOS applications. Please allow LogTen Pro to use in-app purchases by going to the iOS Settings App, and tap General >> Restrictions >> Allowed Content >> In-App Purchases. For more details, see this Apple article on Managing App Restrictions.

My Work Device Does Not Allow In-App Purchases

Even if you cannot make purchases on a specific device, a subscription you purchase on another device will be saved to your Coradine Account. Use the same Coradine Account and login to LogTen Pro X on your work device to automatically authorize it for use with your subscription.

My Subscription Renewed Already, but its not in LogTen Pro X?

First, please ensure that you are signed into the iTunes Store with the same Apple ID that Apple processed the renewal on. Next, use the Restore Purchases button to retrieve your latest subscription from the App Store.

  • On iOS, find this in More >> Settings >> Store.
  • On Mac, select the LogTen Pro X menu, choose Store, and select the Purchased tab.

Note: You must be logged into your Coradine Account to Restore Purchases

When Will My Auto-Renewing Subscription Renew?

The App Store will begin trying to renew your subscription 24 hours before it is due to expire. The App Store will send you notices if it is unable to process the renewal for any reason. You can also renew your subscription manually: Managing Auto-Renewing Subscriptions.

How Do I Manage My Auto-Renewing Subscription?

In LogTen Pro X, More >> Store (iOS) or Preferences >> Store (Mac), then tap/click the "Manage Subscription" button. You will be directed to the iTunes Store app where you can manage your subscription. This option is only available for auto-renewing subscriptions. Can I Extend My Subscription?

It is not possible to extend subscriptions. If you have an auto-renewing subscription, see How Do I Manage My Auto-Renewing Subscription for details on changing your subscription, or ensuring that auto-renewing is enabled.

If you have a non-renewing subscription ( LTPX Bronze, LTPX Silver, or LTPX Gold), you will receive reminders when your subscription is about to expire. You will be able to select a new subscription of your choice beginning seven days before your current subscription expires.

Can I Upgrade/Downgrade My Subscription?

It is easy to upgrade or downgrade between Standard (iOS or Mac) and Pro (iOS and Mac) subscriptions, and between monthly and annual options. See How Do I Manage My Auto-Renewing Subscription for details on changing your subscription.

Note: It is not possible to change a Mac-only subscription to an iOS-only subscription, or vice versa.

Non-renewing subscriptions ( LTPX Bronze, LTPX Silver, or LTPX Gold) cannot be changed to a different subscription. You will receive reminders when your subscription is about to expire, and once it does you will be able to select a new subscription of your choice.

Can I Cancel My Subscription?
