LogTen Pro 6 & iCloud Drive in iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite
LogTen Pro 6 can be used on devices running iOS 8, as well as Macs running Mac OS X 10.10 “Yosemite", however LogTen Pro 6 was designed for iOS 5 and Mac OS X 10.7 “Lion” so there are a few incompatibilities you should be aware of:
You will need to use WiFi sync, as LogTen Pro’s iCloud Sync is not supported if your iCloud Account has been migrated to iCloud Drive, which is required on iPhone’s 6 and Macs running OS X Yosemite.
IMPORTANT: A couple of scenarios exist where Out and In times could be lost during sync:
- During wi-fi sync between an iPad and another iOS device, where the iPad is running iOS8
- When initially adding a device running iOS 8 to sync via iCloud If you’ve already upgraded your iPad to iOS 8 and you log Out and In times, we strongly recommend that you refrain from syncing with your other iOS devices with it.
This issue currently only affects syncs between mobile devices running iOS 8, so you’re free to continue syncing your iOS 8 iPhone/iPad with your Mac, regardless of its OS X version.
Some users are experiencing trouble having the iOS 8 device appear on their Mac or iPad; if you’re unable to find or pair your device for wi-fi sync we recommend trying a hard reset of the iOS device
NOTAM LogTen Pro X is designed for iOS 8 and Mac OS X Yosemite, and is fully compatible with iCloud Drive.
