New Reports after Mac OS X 10.6.8 or Higher

Mac OS X 10.6.8 contained considerable changes to font management and html rendering which in turn affected stock reports for LogTen Pro. LogTen Pro 5.7.3 or later this includes those report changes and should not need any changes.

If you are using a version that is prior to 5.7.3 then you will need to either:

• Update to the most recent (assuming you are using LTP 5 or greater)
• Install new reports for those users using LTP 4 or earlier

Installing New Reports

First, you will need to go to this Discussion to download the .zip containing the report you are seeking to re-install. Each report will be in a separate zip file. Once download it, unzip it to reveal the report folder.

Report templates in LogTen Pro live in a special folder in your “home” folder, located at

~/Library/Application Support/LogTen Pro/

If you are running Lion (Mac OS X 10.7 and higher), the library folder has been hidden and you will need to hit Command+Shift+G from the Finder to bring up the Go to Location window, then paste in the path above.

Here you will find two important folders, “Sample Report Templates” and “My Report Templates”. LogTen Pro will look for your new reports in the “My Report Templates” folder, so the easiest way to install the new report is to place the new unzipped folder the “My Report Templates” folder.
