What to do if LogTen on your iPhone Crashes?

Yes, unfortunately it does happen occasionally, and when it does we want to get it fixed as fast as possible!

Before you go looking for crash logs, please make sure you connect your iOS device to iTunes and perform a Backup (control-click or right-click on your device name in iTunes and select "Backup).

Here's what we need from you when you email us:
1. Detailed information about what you were doing when it crashed (even down to what information you were inputting, or what field you were changing etc).
2. Crash reports. Every time you sync with iTunes, the iPhone copies reports on all the crashes that happened. We need all the ones that say "LogTen" in the name of the file and end in ".crash". Here's where you can find them:

  • Mac OS X: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/DEVICE_NAME
  • Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\DEVICE_NAME
  • Windows Vista or 7: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\DEVICE_NAME
